Thursday, June 8th, 6 p.m. – Presentation at Dyer in the Deering Room
The Dyer Library/Saco Museum and the Saco Valley Land Trust are partnering together to offer free History Hikes where we hike and learn about Saco area nature preserves! Our first History Hike will be at the Thurston Mill Site off Watson Mill Rd. in North Saco. We will have a brief history presentation on the Thurston family and their sawmill business on Thursday, June 8th in the Deering Room of the Dyer Library, then we will hike the actual property on Saturday June 10th.
